Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of cedh.at (“MTG Commander Analytics”), operated by Stefan Grasmann as part of the cEDH community HSF Salzburg (see Legal Notice). By registering or using the logged-in area or the Game Tracker you accept them.

This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

1. The service

The site is a free, non-commercial community project: the blog and tournament dates are public; analyses, deck tools and feedback are available to logged-in users. The Game Tracker (life and game counter for Commander games) can be used without an account – your games then stay on your device – and, with an account, in shared playgroups as well. The site is a work in progress; features may change, be temporarily unavailable or be discontinued. There is no entitlement to availability.

2. Registration and account

• A full account requires an invitation code. For the Game Tracker you can create a tracker account without an invitation code; it gives access to the tracker only. In doing so, you confirm that you have read these terms and the Privacy Policy.
• One account per person; keep your credentials secret and do not share them. Accounts that were obviously created abusively or automatically may be deleted without notice.
• Choose a username that does not infringe third-party rights and is not misleading (no other person’s real name, no official titles or the like).
• Administrators may suspend or delete accounts in case of abuse. You can have your account deleted at any time by e-mail to hsf.salzburg@gmail.com.

3. User content

You can create decks, write feedback tickets and upload screenshots. The following applies:

• You only post content to which you hold the necessary rights, and no unlawful, insulting, discriminatory or promotional content.
• No personal data of third parties (e.g. other people’s names, chat logs, contact details) in tickets or screenshots unless strictly necessary for the matter at hand.
• By posting, you grant the operator a simple, royalty-free right to store and display the content within the site and to use it for the further development of the site. Feedback tickets are visible to all logged-in users.
• Administrators may edit, merge or remove content, in particular where it violates these rules.

4. Game Tracker and playgroups

• Entering other players: Only enter other people with their consent (a first name or nickname is fine). Anyone who no longer wants to appear is removed or pseudonymised (see the Privacy Policy).
• Playgroups: Whoever creates a playgroup invites members and manages guests; all members see the playgroup’s shared games and statistics. Members can leave a playgroup at any time. The number of playgroups an account can own is limited.
• Player Awards are meant as fun among players – please do not use them to expose or belittle others.
• Local data: Games stored without an account live only in your browser. We have no access to them and can neither back them up nor restore them.

5. Data and analyses

Tournament data comes from TopDeck.gg, card data from Scryfall. Statistics, ratings and evaluations are provided without warranty: they are based on the available data, statistical models and assumptions (e.g. about player strength) and may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. They do not constitute an official ranking.

6. Permitted use

The site is intended for private, non-commercial use. In particular, the following is not permitted: automated bulk extraction of data, attempts to circumvent security measures, and sharing of credentials. If you publish your own analyses based on our data, please credit the source (cedh.at / TopDeck.gg).

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from the use of the site, from outages, data loss (including locally stored games) or incorrect analyses, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. The operators of linked external sites are responsible for their content.

8. Third-party rights

Magic: The Gathering, card names, card images and associated trademarks are the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. The site is unofficial Fan Content under the Fan Content Policy and is not supported or endorsed by Wizards.

9. Changes

We may amend these terms as the site evolves; changes will be published here. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new version.

10. Governing law

Austrian law applies. To the extent permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Salzburg, Austria.
